2025: SEXY SOLIDARITIES

SEXY SOLIDARITIES – Bodily Autonomy, Trauma and ProtestAn exhibition of the Porn Film Festival Vienna in cooperation with ÖH.akbild and Kunst im Keller.“Sexy Solidarities” is an art exhibition that explores how extreme situations—like social injustice, conflict, and violence—can deeply affect our bodies, identities, and the way we see ourselves. It focuses on themes such as sexuality, bodily autonomy, and identity, while also looking at how digital spaces, which are everywhere in our lives today, can distort or erase real human experiences. This exhibition aims to create a space where these ideas can be challenged, and where authenticity, healing, and the full complexity of being human can take center stage.

We invite artists to dive into these themes and share how their work challenges norms, offers fresh perspectives, or even creates guides for healing—especially in the context of consensual and empowering sexual experiences. How can we show solidarity in ways that feel bold, inclusive, and yes, even sexy? How can we imagine and build better sexual futures for ourselves and our communities? What do these futures look like to you? Whether it’s through feminist utopias, pleasure-focused visions, or other radical ideas, we want to open up the space for exploration, questioning, reimagining.  It’s a space for art that sparks conversations, empowers individuals, and helps us envision new ways to connect, heal, and thrive together.
