The work melts two scenes together: a moment of embrace from Pontormo’s The Visitation and a snapshot of anal sex from gay porn. This bold juxtaposition reveals a shared affective field. Both scenes depict a moment of closeness—deep intimacy and emotional intensity—expressed through intertwined bodies. Delicate lines, drawn with a blue ballpoint pen, weave the two acts together, blurring their boundaries and exposing the fiction of the binary divisions.
