This work engages with the visual language of traditional floral embroidery and folk textiles. The words “good boy” (written in English and in Estonian) can be read as affectionate praise, as ironic commentary or as a BDSM phrase encouraging enthusiastic submission.
Beneath the decorative surface, the embroidery creates tension between release and penetration, ornament and flesh, pleasure and discomfort.
