Tattooing is a process that inscribes identity through pain, treating pain as part of transformation. The body becomes an unfinished canvas, open to endless reinvention. Similarly, being tied up is a sensory experience, constraining yet comforting, where pain and pleasure overlap as aspects of desire. Sexual identity and expression is fluid and – like mind and body – continuously evolving.
